Agenda

On arrival you at the airfield you will begin the day with a meet and greet and will be provided with refreshments before kitting out into your flying suit. You will then attend a full pre flight briefing which includes all safety/parachute procedures, and how to fly aerobatics. Then after a quick 1-2-1 chat with your ex-military instructor to discuss just how extreme you want your flight to be, you'll be ready for your flight! Once in the skies your instructor will go through a range of aerobatic manoeuvers, explaining and displaying the technique involved to execute each one correctly. It's then your turn to take the controls and attempt to perform them for yourself! Then it's back to base for a personal debrief with your instructor pilot, including no. of G pulled and a signed flight certificate. There will be an opportunity to purchase a DVD of your flight for an additional £45.00

Restrictions

Maximum Weight: 17.5 stone
Minimum Age: 16

You will be required to complete a medical form before flying and if you are over 55 years of age you will be required to provide a letter from your doctor confirming your suitability to fly.

Duration

The Fly With a Fighter Pilot will last for 2-3hours in total with around 35 minutes flying time.

What to Wear / Equipment

You will be provided with your own Top Gun themed flying suit, (complete with name badge!) and helmet. Please wear FLAT shoes with decent grip (eg: trainers) and no skirts.

Group Size / Spectators

Spectators are encouraged to come and wave you off and welcome you back once safely landed. It is recommended that somebody else drive home after the energy sapping adrenaline rush you will experience!

Weather

The Ultimate Aerobatics experience is weather dependent, it is absolutely necessary that you call the centre before you set off for the day.
