Rally driving requires a unique set of driving skills. Not only are there different surfaces to master – tarmac and gravel, but also different styles of power delivery. Rear wheel drive, front wheel drive and the ultimate in grip – four wheel drive. Under the guidance of an experienced rally instructor, drivers learn skid control, brake and gear control plus under and over-steer techniques. On both a high-speed, high-grip tarmac circuit and a purpose-built rally gravel stage. (Gravel stage only at Prestwold hall, not in Norfolk)

Your day will begin with a welcome introduction that will include a thorough safety briefing and rally driving techniques. Then you will be shown first hand the techniques needed in a number of demonstration laps driving a Subaru Impreza or the Nissan 350Z and Ford Focus ST depending which track you go to on the tarmac stage. Next you will drive a Mitsubishi Evolution V on the tarmac stage before getting behind the wheel of the VW Polo Group N rally car on tarmac/loose gravel stage(only at prestwold hall). Next up you will drive on the loose gravel stage in Group N rally car before an Autotest and finally you will receive an individual driving assessment and certificate.
