How adventurous are you? Rock Climbing has really exploded in popularity in recent years with thousands of people enjoying this fantastic extreme sport which gets you out in the great outdoors. Outdoor Rock Climbing is a very rewarding activity; it is both physically and technically challenging and is also great fun. This half-day course is designed as an introduction to rock climbing with the emphasis on trying out the sport, having fun and learning basic climbing and bouldering techniques. Ideal for someone thinking of taking up climbing or for having a go at this exciting and exhilarating sport.

You will start your session by meeting your instructor at the climbing site. You will receive a safety briefing before being introduced to rock climbing and the basic skills that you will learn during the session. You will then take to the rock where you will learn and practice; knots & belaying, climbing technique, climbing etiquette, introduction to bouldering and safety awareness. This is an excellent taster session during which you will get a real feel for what this great sports has to offer.
