You thought that English waters didn't have much life? You couldn't be more wrong as this trip will show you! Experience the marine wildlife with a thrill as you will travel at high speeds aboard the RIB 'Ocean Ranger', and get the opportunity to explore and encounter many species and ecosystems between the magnificent rocky peninsulas of the Lizard and the legendary Land's End. Your guide and skipper are experts at finding creatures of the Atlantic - from Dolphins to Sharks and Turtles to Seals, to make this voyage original, exciting and fun-packed for everyone!

This is a wonderful expedition that means you get to be right in the centre of nature and possibly see creatures you would never thought possible in the British Isles - experience the voyage of discovery!

Penzance

Departing from Penzance Harbour, your voyage starts here as you get to see some coastal views of local beauty spots and historic landmarks before you start your wildlife venture in the strikingly beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Wildlife species that it is possible to encounter include Dolphins, Whales and you may even get the chance to witness the almighty Fin whale - the second largest creature on the planet! Atlantic Grey Seals can often be spotted basking on the rocks and Ocean Sunfish are becoming regular visitors from the tropics - fascinating and strangely shaped creatures - as are various kinds of Turtles. Basking Sharks often appear in early summer and sometimes in large numbers, often staying around the area until late summer. The birding on land and sea is some of the best in the UK and from your spot in the RIB, there is no better way to witness them.

Minimum Age: 5
The high speed RIBs are not suitable for people with back or mobility problems, or those past mid-term pregnancy.

This tour lasts approximately 2 hours.

This is a great experience for individuals and groups alike.
The RIB boat holds a maximum of 12 people.

The best time to take the Atlantic Adventure due to the abundance of wildlife is between May and September. We advise to book at least two weeks in advance and please note the summer months book up quickly.

Wear something warm and comfortable and a light weight waterproof is recommended as remember, its always a little colder out in the open ocean!

This experince is weather dependant. Please call the centre between 7-9pm on the eve before your trip to check the experience is still going ahead.
