40min Gyrocopter Flight

• A 40 minute flight in a helicopter/microlight

Try the helicopter that is actually a plane as well, whilst overhead blades provide upward lift a powerful fan behind you gives you forward motion too Whether you are considering starting a PPL(Gyroplane) course or simply finding out what taking control of an aircraft feels like, the Trial Flights will provide an unforgettable experience for anyone who samples it for the first time. All the aircraft are equipped with dual controls, and you will occupy the captain's seat in the front with one of the experienced flying instructors in the back - it is the best seat in the house.

The session will start with a joint briefing which includes an introduction to Gyrocopters, explanations of how they fly and the important safety briefing.  Your instructor will also show you around the Gyrocopter explaining the controls and how things work.  Then each attendee will get a flight in a Gyrocopter lasting around 40 minutes. If you wish you will have the opportunity to take the controls and fly the Gyrocopter for yourself.  Otherwise you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular view. Throughout the Trail Flight you will be encouraged to take the controls for most of the flight with the instructor intervening mainly during the takeoff and landing phases of the flight. All lessons are preceded by a classroom briefing to explain the basic controls and the discuss the flight route. Any time flown during a Trail Flight will count towards the PPL(G) course should you decide to take up flying.

Min age is 16 & max weight 100KG

Your experience will last 1 hour altogether

Spectators are welcome and cameras are recommended

Please wear warm clothing and trainers
