Experience the thrill and fun of 4x4 driving with this fantastic full day experience. Discover the immense power behind these incredible vehicles as your qualified instructor teaches you the techniques and skills required to tackle the muddy inclines, steep and slippery slopes, mud-filled ruts and many more challenging obstacles. With the picturesque surroundings make sure you bring your camera for some glorious photos to take home.

Doncaster Retford

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to the legendary Land Rover that you'll be driving, and to your instructor for the day! Then, once briefed you'll be ready to get to work attempting some brave off road situations, with your instructor sat next to you! You'll be thrust into the situations where you'll need to think fast and act quicker as you handle some wild off road challenges! You'll be up against some mud-filled ruts, steep & slippery slopes, axle twisters and seriously bending side-slopes! Although not the most pacey, the sheer challenge that faces you and your vehicle will still ignite the adrenaline in much the same way!

Minimum Age: 17

Must have (or have held) a Full Driving Licence.

The session starts at 10:00am and will last for 6 hours, including briefings, lunch (please bring a packed lunch) and personal driving time.

There will be a maximum of three pupils per vehicle plus the instructor.

Spectators are welcome though the size of the site (a disused quarry) makes observation limited. There are tea and coffee facilities and male and female toilets on site.

This experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year.

Dress for the weather, wrapping up in layers if it is cold. Bring a waterproof jacket and wear strong shoes that you are prepared to get a little dirty!

Only the most extreme of weather conditions can affect whether the course runs, as mud & rain can make 4x4 more interesting!
