Experience the power of this fantastically fast RIB powerboat! Get ready for a high speed sight seeing tour of Portsmouth's coast as you embark on an unforgettable high speed journey!

Power over the waves at speeds of over 50mph with this exhilarating RIB ride across the Solent! Admire the stunning scenery and experience the history of Portsmouth harbour as your RIB ride takes you over the incredible water way. Your ride will be helmed by an experienced skipper whose knowledge will give you an experience unlike any before!

On your arrival you will be welcomed by the staff who will ask you to sign in, and will then familiarise you with the experience. You will then be introduced to your skipper and issued with life jackets and waterproofs as required. The skipper will then guide you down to the pontoons where a pre-boarding safety brief will be given. After familiarisation with the vessel, it will be ‘ropes off’ and you’ll depart Gunwharf Quay for a brief tour of Portsmouth’s historic harbour before heading out into the Solent. You’ll weave amongst the Napoleonic stone forts that span the Solent (The Palmerston Follies) before once more heading north and back to the fortified harbour mouth at Old Portsmouth.

Not suitable for those with back, neck or heart complaints, or pregnant women.

Please arrive at the centre 30 minutes before the experience is due to start. The Forts RIB Blast will last for approx 60 mins.

Spectators are welcome to come to the site, and departures / returns can be viewed, although the majority of the experience cannot be viewed from the shore line. However, this experience operates from Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth harbor - which is a major retail destination, and combines some 30 bars and restaurants to entertain your friends and family as they await your return!

Available between April and October. Please note there will be up to 9 other passengers taking part on the day.

You will be provided with a life jacket.
Please bring: Sunglasses, Suntan lotion and a warm clothing item as necessary.
Please wear a T-Shirt, Jeans or casual clothes plus soft soled shoes or trainers (and a change of clothes for your return as there’s the distinct possibility of getting wet!)
