Edinburgh Seasonal Shopping upon the Northern Belle

Ride the Northern Belle to Edinburgh where you can explore the shops, historical sights or perhaps take the optional guided tour. Also indulge in two delicious meals aboard the train.

Shop in style! This fantastic experience will treat you to a delicious three course Bellini Brunch whilst travelling through the beautiful British Countryside. On arrival at Edinburgh stretch your legs and make the most of the free time shopping and exploring the historical sights, or perhaps take the optional bus tour around the city. The day will draw to a close with your final voyage upon the Northern Belle where a delicious four course dinner is served.

London

Your journey will begin at your chosen location. As you relax and admire the stunning train your Bellini brunch will be served. You will travel through the exquisite countryside until you reach Edinburgh, where you have free time to browse the shops and historical sights or take the optional guided bus tour. On your return journey you will be served a 4 course dinner before returning to your final destination.

Please advise us at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements you may have – e.g. vegetarian; allergies (and their severity); intolerances. We must also be made aware of any mobility restrictions. Tables for 2 can not be guaranteed without a supplementary charge.

This excursion takes approximately 14 hours, however times may vary depending on your departing station.

Timings given at the time of booking are approximate and will be confirmed on your tickets which will arrive 7-10 days prior to departure. You should aim to arrive at check in no later than 20 minutes prior to departure. We regret that the train can not be held for late arrivals.

Please note: The price listed above is for one person only. Please buy the appropriate number of tickets for your group size.

This experience is available throughout the year on selected Fridays and Saturdays, exact dates and locations will be disclosed upon booking.

The Northern Belle departs from various locations: Birmingham, Bolton, Crewe, Derby, Doncaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester Victoria, Preston, Sheffield, Stockport and York.

Feel and look fabulous in your favourite smart-daywear. Please do not wear jeans or trainers and bare in mind you will be outside for parts of your excursion.
Don’t forget to take you cameras!

As a section of this experience occurs outside remember to check the forecast and pack accordingly, items not required off train can be stored on-board.
