Eclipse Sphereing (Zorbing) for Two

Sphereing Experience, experience the rush of Zorbing, but in the dark! With no light in the ball, you have to be brave to step inside and take on the Eclipse!

Eclipse Sphereing A.K.A. Zorbing is an exciting new take on Harness Sphereing, where people are rolled down steep hills inside 12' inflatable balls. Unlike conventional spheres or Zorbs, Eclipse spheres are completely opaque. You and a friend are strapped facing each other into the harnesses inside the blacked-out ball, before tearing off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph in total darkness. The general reaction is to laugh hysterically as you descend down the hill, rolling and bouncing! And don't worry, with a safety harness, and 3-foot of air between you and the ground, you're entirely safe.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering the ball and the surroundings, then you'll be strapped into the Sphere and almost be ready for the ride of your life! Hang on tight and expect to feel dizzy when you reach the bottom!Once you've been thrown around the ball in almost darkness, you'll reach the bottom in a flurry of dizziness, laughter and adrenalin!

Height Restrictions: Minimum 3ft 10in Maximum: 7ft 2ins
Weight Restrictions: Maximum 16stone (Women) 18stone (Men) (60" girth)
Age Restrictions: Minimum age is 7 for all locations except Scotland – where its 16 (Parental consent is required in all locations if under 18)

It is strongly recommended that you do not eat too much or consume any alcohol before riding in the Sphere. Please Note: Aqua-Sphereing is not suitable if you are pregnant, suffering from high blood pressure, any heart condition or epilepsy, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have any back or neck problems or have had an operation within the past twelve months, currently undergoing any medical treatment or have any other condition that may be affected by participating in such an activity.

Your experience will last 30mins altogether but the actual roll is for a couple of minutes (trust us, would you want to be in a tumble drier any longer?)

Minimum group size is 2 and spectators are welcome and cameras are recommended.

This experience is available from April to October, on selected weekdays & weekends.

Please wear soft soled shoes and warm clothing.

This experience is affected by extreme weather, please contact the centre if in doubt on the day.
