Sea Kayaking 3 Hour Introduction

Take to the seas in an all natural experience as you learn the skills to man your Kayak in the open water. A fantastic water sport experience.

• Half day of exploring beautiful scenery and learning new skills
• Gain Experience to take you to the next level
• Very little experience required - only very basic skills

The successful sea-kayaking courses are gaining in popularity largely due to the relaxing calmness of the sport when compared to its brother, white water kayaking. This style is far gentler and allows the paddlers to explore far more as the adrenalin is not quite pumping at full capacity! This introduction will ease you into sea kayaking in a gentle environment and is proving popular because only very basic kayaking skills are required to get started and begin exploring

Brockenhurst

A skills based training course on a beautiful estuary in the New Forest. This 3hr training will set you up perfectly for your first days on the sea. All specialist equipment is included, with fully qualified sea kayaking coaches guiding you through every paddle stroke.

Age requirements: Min age 12 in the New Forest (Under 18's must have parental consent). All Participants must be confident in the water.

Please allow approximately 3 hours for this experience

There will be a maximum of 8 students per instructor.

Please contact the centre as the dates may vary.

The centre will provide you with the kayak and wetsuit and buoyancy aid etc. You will need to bring a swimming costume and towel. Also, if it's hot take some sun block and if it's not take some warm clothes to change into afterwards.

This course can be affected by the weather. If in doubt please contact the centre before you set off for the day.
