Alternatively Clay Pigeon Shooting can be combined into a team building activity day or included in a multi - activity competition event. The Clay Pigeon shooting activity is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced shooters alike. Clay Pigeon Shooting is a fun activity that will test your skill and co-ordination. The Clay Pigeon Shooting activity session commences with a safety briefing where participants are shown how to stand, how to mount the gun into the shoulder and consistently hit the clay target.

The Clay Pigeon Shooting activity session commences with a safety briefing where participants are shown how to stand, how to mount the gun into the shoulder and consistently hit the clay target. Participants are given one-to-one tuition throughout the activity as the group moves around the wide variety of stands with disciplines including High Tower, English Sporting, Skeet and Compak to name but a few. The activity can be carried out simply as a fun activity, or can be competitively scored with medals from first to third positions if required. The Clay Pigeon Shooting activity includes 50 shots, clays and instruction.
Minimum age is 12. Maximum group size in Buckinghamshire is 7.
Clay Pigeon lasts between 1 - 2 hours depending on the size of the group (about 1 hour for up to 4 people, 1 ½ hours for up to 10 people, 2 hours for over 10 people).
In Buckinghamshire it will last one hour for a maximum of 7 people.
This sport is suitable for spectators, not for people who do not like loud bangs.
Year round, every day of the week.
You will need to wear outdoor clothing including walking boots/old trainers. Clothing and footwear may get wet and muddy during the clay pigeon shooting activity, so it is advisable to bring a change of footwear. If the weather looks poor it is a good idea to wear waterproof clothing, and a hat and gloves if the weather is very cold.
