The ubiquitous Caterham 7 is a stalwart of the motor-sport enthusiasts world, as the lightweight race car provides the ideal driving thrills with consummate ease - great handling, fantastic acceleration and an open cockpit. Racing Caterhams has long been an activity for the petrol-heads of the world, taking to the track in the car weighs just 500kg for an unforgettable race day. This experience allows you to taste what makes the cars so desirable on a renowned race track, and with expert tuition close at hand.

Your Caterham 7 Thrill will begin with an introduction brief covering the lightweight Caterham, the track and the racing lines. After a 2 lap demonstration in a performance saloon car (driven by the instructor) you'll be ready to get into the super fast, British built Caterham. Briefed and buckled up, you'll begin the driving with the first of your 3-4 laps (track-length dependent). Once the driving has been completed, you'll finish the experience with a debrief and certificate of your drive. Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of control and the racing lines required to drive the Caterham around the track. Your driving experience will commence with a 2 lap demonstration with your instructor driving the performance training car. Now it is your turn to drive the Caterham! You will take the Caterham for approximately 4 laps (depending upon track length). Your experience will draw to a close with a debrief, including a driver assessment score and a presentation of your personalised certificate.

You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences and you must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from all activities.

Your Caterham Thrill will last for around 1 hour.

Spectators are welcome. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, and no animals are allowed on site.

Caterham 7 Experience runs on selected weekdays & weekends throughout the year from March through November.

You should wear comfortable casual clothes, with soft soled flat shoes.

Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be rescheduled - please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
