Candle Making Course - London

This candle making workshop is a fantastic full day course when you will learn to make your own candles in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are looking to start selling your creations or you simply want to learn the wonderful craft of candlemaking, this is a fantastic and relaxing way to spend a day. You will be lerning a new craft, creating something beautiful (and useful!), and will get to take everything you make with you when you leave, meaning you have a really beautiful reminder of an already memorable experience.

The candlemaking course is a superb all-round introduction to the craft, as you will learn to work with a number of different types of wax and frangrances and will also practise decorating and even packaging the exterior of a finished candle. You'll be waxing lyrical about this experience long after the actual day has passed!

Your day begins at 10am, but please arrive a little bit early so you can begin on time. The workshop is 6 hours long, including an hour for lunch. During the workshop you will learn about;

• Different types of waxes
• How to work with wicks
• Safety issues
• Colouring candles
• Using fragrances in candles
• Decorating, labelling and finishing touches
• Test burns

Minimum Age:16
Maximum Age: 65

Participants should be capable of standing for an extended period of time.

The candlemaking course lasts for 6 hours, including an hour for lunch.

The class begins at 10am and finishes at 4pm.

The candlemaking class is not suitable for spectators, however makes a lovely group activity - and it's suitable for almost anyone!

This candlemaking workshop is available to be booked on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the year.

Just be comfortable, and no high heels please!

The weather will not affect your candlemaking!
