Driving an Aston Martin on York's Elvington Airfield is a fantastic route to understanding the luxurious glory of the famous British sports car, with one of the widest, longest and fastest circuits in the country - allowing you to put pedal to metal in one of the most desirable sports cars on the road. With a 4.3L V8 engine and the prestigious styling of the AMV8 combined with the outstanding performance make the baby Aston Martin one of the most popular supercars amongst celebrities and sportsmen, and this is your chance to experience the luxurious thrill of an Aston Martin Track Day.

Your Aston Martin AMV8 track day will begin with a welcome brief and introduction, covering the track layout, fundamental safety points and the AMV8 itself. Then, once briefed and ready, you'll hit the track for a track familiarisation lap with the instructor driving before your time comes to get behind the wheel of the Aston Martin and drive 4 laps of Elvington Airfield circuit. Lasting for around ten minutes, this unforgettable drive will help you realise a dream sat in one of the world's most desirable cars. To finish the day your instructor will provide a debrief and present you with a personalised driving certificate.

Minimum Age: 18 (A full driving license must have been held for a minimum of 1 year)
Minimum Height: 5’ 0”
Maximum Height: 6’ 6”
Maximum Weight: 20 stone

You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission.

The Aston Martin track day will last for 1 hour, with around ten minutes behind the wheel of the AMV8.

Spectators are welcome to watch from the side of York's Elvington Airfield, however no pets are allowed and any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The Aston Martin AMV8 track driving experience at Elvington Airfield, York is available on selected weekdays and weekends from March through to November.

You should wear casual comfortable clothes with soft shoes like trainers - all safety equipment is supplied by the centre.

The most extreme of weather conditions will cause the Aston Martin to be rescheduled. Please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead if you are unsure.
