When visiting new places, I love to embrace the tourist that I am and visit as many cultural and historical sites as possible. So, when the opportunity arose to see Edinburgh Castle, I was straight online to print off the map! It’s no secret Willow and I have a common thread of bad weather on the days of experience visits; therefore, you can imagine our surprise when we woke up to a beautiful sunny day in Scotland.

After months of planning, the day had arrived for Willow and I to travel up to Scotland! A quick dash to the gate at Gatwick was followed by a relaxing hour flight to Edinburgh Airport, where only having hand luggage meant we were able to leave the airport hassle free. After picking up our hire car, we eagerly made our way to our first supplier visit, Nae Limits.

Who doesn’t find little seal pups adorable? The GIFs of them sliding across the shore put a smile on anyone’s face. Seal Watching Harwich are a boat tour agency who provide the opportunity to see them up close, and Willow and I were lucky enough to be invited on a trip with them.

After a beautiful sunny day in Brighton, Gemma and I caught the train to Reigate. That evening we would be taking part in an aerial yoga class hosted by Very Yoga! Although we were certainly not experts in the flexibility department, we were of course tempted by the relaxing effects of a yoga class. However, this was no usual yoga! This was a different take, and an increasingly popular style: aerial yoga. Hanging from hammocks, we would soon be feeling the benefits of deeper stretches and suspended postures.

Port, helm, starboard… these were all sailing terminologies Willow and I were researching before we ventured to Lymington. As summer draws near, the sailing community are making sure their vessels are prepped and ready for what we hope to be a sunny couple of months in unpredictable England!
