Ever wondered what it was like to walk on water? Well we can't turn you into the second coming, but we can let you pilot your very own Hovercraft, which is the next best thing. This truly thrilling sport is just as much fun as it looks and after your first tentative steps on dry land with full instruction, we bet it won't be long before you and your fiends are flying out over the 30 acre lake. Your instructor will help you each get to grips with the controls and teach you all how to steer the craft with your bodies and the rudder, enabling you hit speeds of up to 40 miles per hour and that's just when you're going sideways. You'll have a devil of a time keeping your tricky craft on the course, but that's half the point of this challenging, but insanely fun motor-sport. We recommend this fantastic group activity for 4 people as this will give you all ample time to learn the ropes and give you all plenty of time to hit take the controls!

Once you and your group have arrived and been welcomed to the centre the 60min Hovercraft Group Session will begin with a safety brief, before getting out and introduced to the amazing Hovercraft that you will all be driving. You will then be learning to 'fly' the hovercraft with the instructor, as he shows you the basics and more, preparing you all for the 30 acre deep water lake! In your group, you will each get a chance to drive the amazing hovercraft, feeling the power and manoeuvrability as you effortlessly glide at speeds reaching 40mph - sideways! You'll also get the chance to learn 180 & 360 spins and really get to grips with the hovercraft on this great group adventure!

Please be aware, if there are 4 people in the group - the session will be run entirely on land as there isn't enough time to hit the waters as well.
If there are 2 people in the group, the session will run on both land and water.

The experience will last for around 60mins of hovercraft action, but expect to be at the centre for longer.

This voucher entitles up to 5 people to participate in the experience.
Spectators can watch from a viewing area.

This experience is available on selected weekends throughout the year.

Dress in comfortable outdoor clothes. It is recommended to take a spare pair of clothes as you may get wet!

Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be rescheduled. Please contact the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
