60min Aeroplane Flying Lesson

Spend a glorious hour in the air, as you enjoy a trial flight lesson! Flying a Cessna 2 seater aircraft, you will learn basics of flying, and take a first step towards a Private Pilot's Licence!!

This is a wonderful 60 minute trial flying lesson in a 2 seater Cessna plane, which will provide you not only with the thrills of flying in small aircraft, but will also count as the first step towards getting a Private Pilot's Licence!

The Cessna flying lesson kicks off with a thorough flight briefing from your instructor. He/she will tell you everything you need to know about the flying lesson you are about to embark upon, and will answer any questions you may have.

Once airborne, you will be allowed to take the controls and actually fly the aircraft! The trial lesson will give an insight into the thrills of flying and you will receive a certificate signed by our instructor. A truly fabulous gift for anyone of any age, and also a perfect introduction to flying for those who have dreamed of flight!

You shall be welcomed at the centre by your instructor and into a briefing then a 60 minute Flight in a 2 seater Cessna and receive a signed Flight Certificate on completion of your event.

Maximum Pilot Weight is 17 Stone (109 kg). Maximum Pilot Height is 6' 6" (1.98 m) Minimum Pilot Age is 12 Years (adult supervision required for under 16s on airfield premises)

Please allow 2 hours at the centre for your experience. This flying lesson is for one person.

Spectators are welcome and may take photographs

Available all year round.

Please wear warm clothes and soft soled shoes.

This activity is weather dependent please check with the centre on the day if unsure.
