Helicopter Experience Days: Flying a helicopter is by far one of the most exciting and amazing experiences, and can often be found near the top of every thrill-seekers' bucket-list. Known for its light utility and T-shape control, the two-seater R22 helicopter is the perfect vehicle for learning to fly. This 30 minute adrenaline-fueled experience will give you the opportunity to take control of the vehicle, and witness some stunning sights from a proper birds’ eye view.
Whether you aspire to obtain your helicopter flying licence or you simply want to try out how it feels to be in control in the sky, this unique and amazing experience makes the perfect gift for friends and family with a desire for thrills. With a fully qualified instructor by your side, you will be guided throughout your flight and taught all there is to know about the controls needed for flying such an amazing machine! This 30 minute experience can count toward the required 45 hours of fly time needed for your helicopter flying licence - and we're sure this is something you'll think about once you've touched back down.

Availability
The trial lessons run 7 days a week from April to October on demand.
Please note that this experience is weather dependant.
Requirements
Minimum age: 14 years
Maximum weight: 16 stone
Participants must be able to climb in and out of the helicopter unassisted.
The 30 minute instructional time can be used towards the 45 hours minimum required for a license PPL (Private Pilot Licence).

Experience Duration: 0:30
Time Spent at Venue: 1:00
This is a 30 minute trial flight - however, you will receive a30 minute briefing prior to take off.
Please expect to be at the airfield for approximately an hour intotal.

This 30 minute trial flying lesson is based on one-to-onetuition in a two-seater R22 helicopter
Spectators are welcome to come along and watch you take off fromthe ground.

Please dress comfortably and according to the weather conditions on the day.
Weather
As with all flying experiences, this helicopter trial flying lesson is subject to weather conditions.
Should visibility be too poor, or conditions deemed unsafe, you will simply be able to re-schedule your flight for an alternative date.
