Enjoy a fantastic helicopter of the Lake District and witness some of Britain's most spectacular landscapes from the air. From the departure site, set in acres of rolling countryside, you will head towards Newby Bridge at the base of Lake Windermere, viewing the remarkable landscape that unfolds beneath you is one of the most breath-taking flying experiences available. Whichever way you look from the helicopter there will be some truly amazing views so taking a camera is a must!

Carnforth

Your 30 minute Lake District flight will begin with a welcome to the centre and a safety brief and talk about the flight plan. You will then climb aboard the helicopter and strap yourself in ready for take-off. The pilot will talk you through all the points of interest and areas of amazing scenery throughout the flight making sure you can make the most of the beautiful scenery! As the tour comes to an end, the pilot will head back to base over more of the beautiful countryside.

Minimum Age: 4 years (children under 9 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Maximum Weight: 17stone 7 lbs

Your flight will last approximately 30 minutes, however please allow time for safety briefings.

This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.
Spectators are welcome to come along and take photographs from the ground.

Flights are normally scheduled once a month on a weekend, from March to November.

Please Note: Locations are subject to change due to operational requirements.

Please wear warm clothes and soft soled shoes.

This experience may be affected by the weather so we advise guests to contact the centre before setting off.
