White Water Rafting Experience Days:
Experience one of the most thrilling activities available today!
Since it's break-through in the 70's white water rafting has become
a key member of the extreme sports family. With the raging rapids,
immense waves and unpredictable dips here and there, this is a
great team building activity! Your fellow rafters must work
together as you guide yourselves down the purpose-built course!
Follow the instructions of your qualified tutor and paddle hard as
you launch the raft over the swells! The 700meter, International
Grade 3, downhill course is perfect for practicing the basic
principles of white water rafting!
Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing whilst you collect your safety equipment. Your qualified instructor will run through the basics to white water rafting before guiding you down to the rapids! Now to begin rafting! Climb aboard the 6-8 man raft and work together, with the rest of your group to guide yourselves down the raging course. You will participate in approximately 3-4 runs down the 700meter course! Your experience will draw to a close with a de-brief back at the centre, where you will have a chance to change into dry, clean clothes.

This white water experience is available on selected dates
throughout March- November on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays
Water Requirements
Minimum Age: 14
Maximum Weight: 20 Stone (Chest Size 48")
Under 18's require parental consent.
All participants must be confident swimmers!
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your
physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way,
please check with the centre when booking.

Time Spent at Venue: 2:30
This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your activity time to collect safety equipment.

What to Wear For This Activity
All safety equipment such as helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids
will be provided by the centre.
Please wear a swimsuit and trainers you don't mind getting wet and
bring a towel and spare change of clothes for after your
experience.

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.
